Activated Carbon Filter

Both surface water and groundwater contain organic compounds to varying degrees. When their concentration exceeds the allowable influent water quality standards for subsequent treatment units, an activated carbon filter must be installed. This unit is typically placed after the mechanical filter and requires a precision filter to be installed after it.
This filter operates under pressure, with granular activated carbon packed inside the column. The filling thickness is generally 1400–2000 mm. The column material is PVC, PMMA, or A3 steel, and the valves are made of PVC, PP, or ABS.
